    The arrival and induction normally starts on a Thursday. The training course starts on the following Monday. Please enter the date of the Monday you expect to start the training course.
    Please note that you need to plan to arrive in Brisbane, Queensland, early on a Thursday morning to join the programme induction. Please tell us an approximate date if you do not know this exactly, or write 'not sure yet'

    INSURANCE INFORMATION
    Your Visitoz agent or Visitoz staff can advise you about what type and level of cover you require to travel and work in Australia. This should normally be arranged at the same time as, or very soon after your programme booking with Visitoz and your flight to Australia. 
    Insurance is required that covers you for paid work and volunteering on farms, including use of equipment and machinery such as motorbikes, tractors, chainsaws and other farm machinery. You agent or Visitoz can advise you about suitable working holiday insurances.
    IMPORTANT - please include the company name, policy number, and number to be used in case of emergency

    General farm work / livestock experience
    ...tell us about any farm or other outdoor manual work you have done. What animals have you worked with? how long? Part time or full time? Please say when it was, how long for, was it part time, full time, a paid job/volunteering/family farm? What sort of duties did you perform? mustering? worming? dehorning? administering medication? injecting? shearing? milking- what type of machines?

    Driving, tractor and other machinery experience
    If you do not have a license to drive with a trailer / horse trailer please consider getting one, and also getting some practice. This is very likely to be useful to employers.
    How many times/seasons/months/years/have you worked? Did you grow up on a crop farm? What brand (make) of tractors have you driven? size/horsepower What work have you done? what crops? What implements have you used ? front end loaders? seeders? ploughs? slashers? balers?mowers? Any Advanced tractor work such as combine harvesters? contract work? Can you repair tractors and other agricultural machinery? please expand on your level of experience basic/advanced? Any other machinery? e.g forklift? bull dozers? excavators? loader?     Motorbike and Quad bike driving experience
    Approximately how much time have you spent riding manual motorbikes or automatic scooters ?

    Equestrian / equine (horse) experience
    If you have competed or worked full time you are likely to be advanced - if you work or ride for only a few hours a week you are likely to be Australian intermediate. You can give us more specific experience on the following page.
    For how many years have you been riding? Do you go to a riding school – daily, weekly, less often? has there been a gap in time since you last rode regularly? Can you saddle and bridle a horse? Have you worked at a riding stables or more professionally as stud groom? volunteer or paid career job? Are you used to feeding and caring for a horse, cleaning the stables, tacking up, washing down etc? Do you have your own horse/s? How long for? Have you worked/ or ridden/broken in young horses? Have you handled foals/stallions/brood mares? Have you been riding in competitions? what level- local shows? high level? Teaching riding to adults/children Any dressage, show jumping, cross country, polo, eventing, endurance riding, racing, western riding experience? how much, how long, what have you done?     This can be important when you travel from the training farm to your job on a flight. We may be making this booking for you. This is baggage for the aircraft hold only. You should aim to keep this wieght less than 25kg if possible. 20kg is typical. .
